• Facilitate referrals between individuals, families, parishes, Service Providers, and Healthcare Providers.

• DMH itself is not a HIPAA-covered entity
• Healthcare Providers in the network are independently responsible for HIPAA compliance and safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Service Providers are not subject to HIPAA but are expected to handle personal information ethically and responsibly.
